Colour specialist for TiGi Colour, Tammie has worked side by side with world renowned hairdressers for the past five years. Working for such a great company like TiGi has helped Tammie become an extremely passionate and an unstoppable hairdresser.

Tammie says, "The thing I love most about being a hairdresser is the power to make some ones day. To watch a woman come in after a tough week, spend an hour or so with them just listening. Then pamper them, make them feel beautiful and watch them leave strutting the whole way out the door. That's why I do what I do!"

I am part of the TiGi "Bed Head" Educational team, and extraordinary group of stylists who come together to create cutting edge techniques. There is no limit to the imagination when it comes to TiGi.

Dream in Colour show to benefit and raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims. Together with an extraordinary team of hair stylists and the creative eye of Ms. Tammie Scarborough we raised $10,000! It was an event the Outer Banks had never experienced and surely never forget.

Being a hairstylist is not my job, it is my passion! I am fortunate enough to wake up everyday and create new fun exciting hairstyles. Being able to make a difference in some ones life and make them happy means the world to me. I work with a great team of Stylists at Style Di'Vita and a great team of stylists at TiGi as well!

My inspiration come from the love and passion for the industy. My sister Tammie Scarborough along with my brother Chris Scarborough have been a major inspiration as well. Being able to work alongside Tammie and the TiGi team during hair shows and educational classes has been most beneficial for my techniques. I am living my dream! I will always keep moving forward and there will never come a day where I stop being a student...

I became a hairstylist because I love to make people feel good about themselves. I trained under Paul Mitchell Academy for 13 months. After graduating I moved to the Outer Banks. Since working I have studied under TiGi at their Las Vegas releases and the TiGi New York Academy. I have also trained under Sam Brocado in Virginia. I am currently volunteering for the "Look good... Feel Better", which is a program helping people fightig cancer deal with the changes in their skin and hair. I love working for Style DiVita becasue it is a very positive salon and focus on continuing education and customer service.

Originally from the Outer Banks, I've always had a passion for hair. In 2006 I moved to Greenville to attend Mitchell's Hairstyling Academy for 1 yr. After receiving my cosmetology license I became a stylist at Shear Image Salon. In 2009 I had the luxury of attending the Fashion Focus Hairshow in Charlotte, NC. It was then that I realized that I wanted to expand my techniques and all around style. Recently I became a studio stylist for Style DiVita, working alongside some the Outer Banks top stylists with cutting edge color and cutting techniques. I look forward to waking up everyday and changing someones life in a positive way!"
